Finding Joy

Despite the headlines and the need for true Christians to stand watch amidst the turmoil, we can and should find joy in the simple elements of our lives. Time may be short, but only the Father knows His plan for the Day of the Lord. It must always be at hand for us and our spiritual preparation must be robust. At the same time, God expects that we appreciate His blessings and the simple things that we see in this world that He created. This sermonette will discuss various scriptures to assist us in doing this.

Why Americas Won’t Win the Iran War—Comments on News and Prophecy, March 14, 2026

America’s allies, especially in Europe, are separating themselves more and more from Trump’s Iran war, and object strongly to his dealing with Russia and his “chaotic geopolitical moves,” being unwilling to “escort ships through the Strait of Hormuz.”

At the same time, this ill-conceived and unprovoked war without any plan for the “Day After” might lead to a “dollar crisis” and an “economic crash worse than the Great Depression”; and oil prices will “march higher and higher” and will “NEVER go back down much again.”

Thoughts We Allow

Our thoughts are powerful and shape who we become. Modern neuroscience and the Bible affirm that what we repeatedly think can transform our minds and actions. As Christians, we must intentionally guard and guide our thoughts by bringing every thought into captivity to Christ so that our words, actions, and character reflect God’s ways rather than the natural tendencies of the human heart.
